Hey everyone, I wanted to share a little design challenge I recently set for myself.
I created SIX different custom Blu-ray Disc Labels for Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas (1990).

The idea was simple, to push myself creatively by:

1. Exploring different visual styles.
2. Playing with color palettes and typography.
3. Finding unique ways to reflect the film’s atmosphere.

Each label carries its own mood:

1. Some lean more classic.
2. Some are minimalist.
3. And others are a bit more daring.

it was all about seeing how many directions one film could inspire.
This was purely a creative exercise, not an official project, but I had a lot of fun working on it and thought it’d be worth sharing here.

The design ↓ below is prepared for print at 300 dpi and includes full bleed and a safe margin. The file is optimized for high-quality printing, ensuring clean edges and protecting all important elements near the borders. All essential print settings are included to guarantee accurate output without losing any details in text, images, or final edges.
